All our work is covered by comprehensive public liability insurance. Please contacts us if you would like a copy of our insurance certificate. Our work complies with industry best practice and the British standard for tree surgery, BS3998 – recommendations, where possible.
We carry out comprehensive Health and Safety risk assessments before undertaking any work, with first aid kits being available on the ground and attached to the climbers harness. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times. Method statements are carried out before certain work is undertaken. All equipment is regularly tested in accordance to the lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations (LOLER).

We are environmentally aware and committed to sustainable practices. Where appropriate wildlife assessments are carried out, we never lay hedges in bird nesting season. We recycle our green waste, be it for firewood or woodchip mulch which can be used as a weed suppressant in your garden. We use biodegradable chainsaw oil, low emission fuels and where possible, battery operated chainsaws and hedgecutters are used. We aim to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.
We like to make things easy for you, so if necessary we will complete applications and apply for planning consent from local planning authorities to carry out work to trees that are either situated within a conservation area or are subject to a tree preservation order.
